Adria Security Summit 2024 wraps up with focus on security innovations and business growth opportunities

Over the past two days, the Adria Security Summit gathered more than 3,000 participants from over 50 countries in Sarajevo, showcasing the latest advancements in the security sector and bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and decision-makers. As the leading security industry event in Southeast Europe, the Summit hosted nearly 5,000 B2B meetings, fostering significant partnerships and industry growth.

This year’s Adria Security Summit has further strengthened our collective ability to face the ever-changing challenges in the security sector. Together, we are building a safer future by embracing technological innovations that redefine security practices and offer meaningful solutions to contemporary challenges,” said Mahir Hodžić, Chair of the organizing committee, at the Summit’s closing today.

We are grateful to our partners and participants who make the Adria Security Summit an annual hub for innovation, exchange, and networking in the region,” added Mahir Hodžić. He emphasized that in addition to a conference program filled with lectures, presentations, and panel discussions, the Summit’s exhibition featured 160 global and regional exhibitors, including industry giants like Konica Minolta, Bosch, Hikvision, Huawei, Canon, and Motorola Solutions.

Adria Security Summit

This year was marked by the introduction of the Adria Security Summit awards for outstanding achievements in the security industry, presented in nine categories. These awards underscored the Summit’s commitment to advancing the sector and recognizing leaders driving innovation. Notably, the award for Security Manager of the Year was given to Damir Car from Rimac Technology.

The Adria Security Summit 2024 was organized by a&s Adria magazine, a professional publication for complete security solutions, part of the world’s largest security media group owned by Messe Frankfurt.

Partners of the Adria Security Summit 2024 included professional chambers and associations from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Romania, North Macedonia, and this year’s host – the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Chamber of Security. The next edition, Adria Security Summit 2025, will be held in Skopje on October 8-9, 2025.
