  • Rubik Hub has launched applications for the 7th edition of the Rubik Garage accelerator.
  • The program is designed for tech startups from Central and Southeastern Europe, providing support to boost revenue, expand into new markets, and attract investments.
  • Participation is free of charge and eligible startups must have a functional MVP and use technology to address problems innovatively. Teams should consist of at least 2 members. While all verticals are welcome, B2B startups in the fields of medtech, deeptech, cybersecurity, and edtech will have an advantage in the selection process.

The Rubik Garage Accelerator offers startups valuable opportunities for scaling into new European markets, attracting investments, and gaining access to essential mentorship and resources. Chambr, one of the startups from the 2022 cohort, showcases the program’s ability to transform innovative solutions into success stories.

In the startup world, where resources are often limited, acceleration programs remain crucial tools for providing essential support in founders’ journeys. Key benefits of such programs include access to resources and mentorship and the opportunity to establish valuable industry connections.

The Rubik Garage is one of the most comprehensive startup accelerators in Europe, organized by Rubik Hub. Over time, dozens of startups have passed through the accelerator, many of which have raised impressive amounts of investment. Chambr, for instance, was selected in 2022 from over 120 startups from Romania and Europe, to join the Rubik Garage cohort.

Co-founders Gabriela Constantinescu and Alex Poe benefited from the accelerator experience, propelling them into other startup programs. After Rubik Garage, Chambr pivoted towards a Learning & Development solution focused on Sales Enablement.

Moreover, they were also part of the Techstars Silicon Valley accelerator, one of the most prestigious programs of its kind globally. With an acceptance rate of just 0.5%, Techstars boasts a portfolio of over 4,400 startups from 60 countries. Chambr completed the program in January 2024, where they launched a new MVP, went through several iterations, and secured their first paying customers.

Chambr now uses artificial intelligence to help sales teams close more deals through role-playing simulations. They also secured $130K in investments from backers at companies like Google, Nvidia, Microsoft, and Salesforce. To strengthen their presence in the American market, the co-founders moved to San Francisco.

Their progress exemplifies the positive impact of an accelerator like Rubik Garage. Their success highlights how crucial the support they received in the program was for navigating the challenges of the startup world, particularly through guidance and access to a supportive community.

“Beyond the metrics and other tangible benefits we can point to from the program, Rubik Garage helped us grow our confidence and motivation. Although these aspects are less measurable, they were by far the most important ingredients in accelerating our startup journey with Chambr,”  Constantinescu shared.

Orange Romania is the strategic partner for this edition, offering significant support. The startup with the highest potential will have the chance to receive a Tech for Equity investment from Fortech Products. The program runs from September 17 to November 28, in a hybrid format.

Applications are open until September 3. Here you cand find more details about the program: https://rubikhub.ro/rubik-garage/
