WeAreDevelopers secures seven-figure investment to expand its developer community platform

  • Europe’s leading developer community WeAreDevelopers raised a seven-figure investment from Round2 Capital.
  • The funding will be used to catalyze the growth of the platform in the Netherlands and the UK.
  • Founded in 2017, the platform provides tech content, perfect-fit job opportunities, and events throughout the year to support the professional and personal growth of developers.

The investment, provided by Round2 Capital with backing from the European Investment Fund (EIF), signals a significant leap forward for the company.

WeAreDevelopers’ CEO Sead Ahmetovic highlighted the importance of the round in advancing the company’s mission to foster the growth of its developer community and make a lasting impact on the tech industry.

We are excited to back WeAreDevelopers as they extend their reach into the Netherlands and the UK. Their development in the DACH region underscores their potential for success on the international stage. With software being core to our investment strategy, we believe in their vision for building a strong community and ecosystem in the development space, and are excited to be a part of the next phase of growth,” said Stefan Nagel, managing partner at Round2 Capital.
