Changing your smartphones is a thing that now happens more frequently then it used to. Still, you old phone might not be for the trash just yet. So, what can you do with your old phone?
Samsung has a solution that’s a bit more eco-friendly. “Galaxy Upcycling” is a project team of C-Lab, Samsung Electronics’ in-house incubator, that gives life to your old smartohones.
The team re-purposes older models of Galaxy smartphones and finds ways to link them to everyday objects and connect them to the Internet of Things (IoT). Upcycling preserves many of an original product’s materials, reworking or reconstructing them to give the product a new function.
