Inventory software provider Cin7 acquires Czech startup Inventoro, marks first Presto II Fund exit

  • Inventory and order management software provider Cin7 acquires Czech startup Inventoro, a provider of AI-driven sales forecasting and replenishment optimization solutions
  • The integration of Inventoro’s capabilities with Cin7’s platform extends product sellers’ access to novel AI technology
  • This acquisition marks the first live exit from the Presto II Fund, representing a significant milestone for the Czech VC

Inventoro’s innovative AI-powered forecasting accurately predicts future product demand, offering daily updates on key optimization performance and insights into profit-driving products. Combined with Cin7‘s end-to-end inventory management software, sellers gain invaluable visibility into product availability and inventory capital.

This empowers them to make swift, impactful decisions previously impossible, providing a significant edge over competitors.

Inventoro’s AI forecasting and optimization capabilities perfectly complement Cin7’s robust inventory management solutions. Together, we’ll deliver unparalleled inventory intelligence, enabling customers to maximize sales, minimize excess stock, and make informed decisions across their operations,” said Ajoy Krishnamoorthy, CEO of Cin7.

“We immediately connected with Cin7 when we first met, and this transaction is a natural progression of our collaborative relationship. Our combined products amplify efforts to assist SMB product sellers and manufacturers, connecting them to a more efficient supply network while reducing waste and supporting local economies,” added Tomas Formanek, founder and CEO of Inventoro.

Czech-based VC Presto Ventures was the first and only institutional investor in Inventoro. According to them, the deal is a significant achievement for the vision of the fund.

“We’ve built Presto with the goal of supporting talented tech founders in the CEE region and helping them propel their smart solutions worldwide. We celebrate the sale of Inventoro as an important milestone in fulfilling this vision. It’s yet another confirmation that Czech entrepreneurs have much to contribute to the global technology market,” noted Premysl Rubes, founder and managing partner of Presto Ventures.
